One cop opted for early retirement. This seems a tad lenient. He should be given the Blagojevich experience (prison).

Illinois cops? Sounded like they were from Bloomfield, NJ.

Either way, those cops are ridiculous. All cops should be required to carry a camera on their person, or prosecution should be forced to dismiss the case.

My brain heard 'Bloomington' rather than Bloomfield. In any case ... it might just as well have happened in Illinois.

The title of this thread implies that there is, or might be, a period during which Chicago cops were not in trouble. That's absurd.
